Your Question:

Dear Experts,

I saw in a movie that if you throw yourself down a flight of stairs you will have a misscarriage. is this true?

xtroublex3

The Answer:

Dear xtroublex3,

Not necessarily. The fetus is well protected inside a woman's uterus, so it is not very likely that falling down a flight of stairs would cause a miscarriage. A woman should never attempt to cause a miscarriage — it may cause serious damage to her body and health. Many women die from such attempts every day worldwide.

Hope this information helps!

Take care,
